Mark has spent most of  his life as a resident of Port Colborne.   After apprenticing with the Washington and Johnston Funeral Home in Toronto, he graduated from Humber College, and received his Funeral Directors License in 1981. He worked with Davidson Funeral Homes since then, until purchasing the business from his step-father, Allan Davidson in 1989. Mark was a charter member and  past president of the Port Colborne Jaycees, and  member of the First Presbyterian Church where he had served as an elder, trustee and a member of the Board of Managers.  He served as a member of the Port Colborne General Hospital Foundation, as well serving one term on the Port Colborne General Hospital Board.  He is a member of the Port Colborne Lions Club, the Ontario Funeral Service Association, the Niagara District Funeral Association and the Port Colborne/Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce. Mark is married to Ginette, a teacher with École élémentaire catholique Saint-Joseph, and has four boys, Matthew (Alexandra), Jordan (Meaghan), Michael(Chelsea) and Jonathan(Cassie), and 3  beautiful grandchildren, Makenna, Nolan and Leighton.

Joe was born and raised in Port Colborne.  He joined Davidson Funeral Home in 1995 as a co-operative education student through Lakeshore Catholic High School.  He attended Humber College, completing his apprenticeship with Davidson Funeral Homes, receiving his Funeral Directing licence in 1999.  When not working, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife Carol and son Cole.

Originally from Northern Ontario, Julie moved to Port Colborne in 2003.  After graduating from high school Julie attended and graduated from Nipissing University with her B.A in Psychology.  She then went on to study Funeral Service Education at Humber College, graduated and received her Funeral Directors Licence in 1995.  Julie went on to teach the Funeral Service Education program at Humber College.  Julie has been responsible for our Family Care Program since 2003 in addition to being a staff funeral director.  Julie’s passion for funeral services, along with her love of animals also paved the way to her business, Pets at Peace, where she can also provide peace of mind to pet owners in their time of loss. When not working, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband Luc and their daughter Morgan.

Barb has been providing administrative services to Davidson Funeral Home since September 1997. A life-long resident of Port Colborne, she graduated from Niagara College majoring in Financial Management. Barb and her husband Ron have been married for over 30 years, and she is the proud mom of three married children, Jason and his wife Jocelyne,  Tyler and his wife Alison and  Kayla and her husband Max. She is grandma to adorable grandchildren, Danica, Keeghan and Stella and Zane.

Tom has been with Davidson Funeral home since 2011. Tom was born and raised in Port Colborne. After graduating from Port High, he attended Durham College and graduated from the Sports Administration Program in 1975 then went on to a long career of 35 years for the City of Port Colborne and retired as the Director of Community Services division. Tom is past coach and member of the executive of Port Colborne minor hockey, minor baseball and minor soccer. He is a member and Past Grand Knight of the Our Lady of Fatima Council 3732 of the Knights of Columbus and member of the Fr. Faustus McKenna Assembly of the 4th degree. He is also a member of the Golden Puck Hockey committee and Mapleview Charities. He is a proud parishioner of St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church. Tom and his wife Carmen have 2 sons, Ryan and his wife Lindsay and Matthew. He is the very proud grandfather to his twin grandsons, Samuel and Jacob.

Joanne was born and raised in Port Colborne. After graduating from Port Colborne High School, she began her banking career with the Royal Bank where she worked for 37 years. She now takes pride as our receptionist at Davidson Funeral Home since 2014. She lives in Sherkston along with her husband Ken where she continues to help with the family business, Shisler Bros. She is the proud mom of Steven and his wife Erin and grandmother of their two children Conrad and Ivy.

Holly was born and raised in the Ottawa area. She moved to Port Colborne, her husband’s hometown, in 2013. She graduated from Niagara College as a Registered Early Childhood Educator in 2017 and she is a member of the College of ECE. Holly is currently employed with the Niagara Region in the children's services department. Holly has been a proud member of the Davidson family since 2014. Holly spends her free time with her husband Reno and their two sons Hunter and Tanner.

Chelsea Sauer, custodian

Chelsea grew up in Fort Erie. In Grade 8 she decided to move away from home and board with her coach in Cambridge, ON to pursue her figure skating career and dreams. Chelsea competed at the National level for many years until deciding to move back home and attend Lakeshore Catholic High school for her senior year. Chelsea went to Brock University and then on to Niagara College. She now works for the Niagara Catholic District School Board as an Early Childhood Educator. Chelsea began working at Davidson Funeral Home part-time as a custodian in 2018. She currently resides in Port Colborne with her Fiancé, Mike McCormack. Mike and Chelsea will welcome their first baby in February, 2019.
