My sister Heather texted me on Friday morning to inform me that Ramo had died on Thursday. We had just been talking about Ramo the other week and there was no mention of illness. I think Ramo was deeply missing Joan and decided it was time for them to be together again.
From one of the Steele gang of kids that were everywhere in the 1960's in and out of each others houses. It was a good time and place to grow up. I remember your fathers deep penetrating dark eyes and a cheeky smile. Your dad was a gentle man and a gentlemen, I never once heard him raise his voice in anger.
It was lovely for you to show the photos and it was so good to see your mum and dad together. Needless-to-say I loved the old photographs and remembered how we dressed to go to Church on Sundays.
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your father, grandfather and great grandfather. You all remain in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
Rest eternal grant unto Ramo and may light perpetual shine upon him. May he rest in Peace. Amen
