Obituary of Nora Mae White

WHITE- Nora Mae (nee Misener) of Port Colborne passed away on Thursday November 18, 2004 at the Port Colborne General Hospital at the age of 68 years. She was born in the Village of Humberstone and had lived in Welland and Port Colborne. She was a member of Central United Church, Unit #3 U.C.W. and also the John Deere Retirees Association. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Calvin White, loving daughter Kelly-Anne Nolk (Robert) of Markham, proud grandmother of Paige and Connor Nolk, dear sister of Muriel Marr of Welland, Leta Jaeger (Ted) of St. Catharines, Noreen Whitney (Roy) of St. Catharines, Elvin Misener (Margaret ) of Port Colborne and Lorne Misener (Lucy) of Welland and dear sister-in-law of Gary White (Shirley) of Fonthill and Pierrette Misener of Welland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Perley and Thera Misener, father and mother-in-law Claude and Violet White and her brothers Theron Misener and Roy Misener and her brother-in-law Cecil Marr. The White family will receive friends at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES, 135 Clarence St. on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held at Central United Church on Tuesday November 23, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Robert Rennie officiating. Interment to follow in Overholt Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mrs. White may be made to Central United Church Memorial Fund or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
